  • Nikkol Baldwin:

I’d definitely choose Murphy-Goode and Edmeades, based simply on the fact that I’ve never made it there yet! I’ve heard some good things about their Zin, and since I love Zin the best, I’d love to give them a shot.

  • Jonathan Kramer:

Wow!! Great line up of wineries.. Many are my favorites in the Roma Station gang. However, I would have to say that Sapphire Hill makes amazing wines, especially the Porky’s Patch Zinfandel, though I love their Chardonnay and several of their Pinot Noir’s as well. When I first met Tim at a Barrel Tasting event years ago, he lead us to the Porky’s Patch barrel and it was the first time I ever got a Butterscotch aroma from a wine. Truly amazing and of course, we bought futures of it.. Amazing, full bodied, very jammy and even a bit sweet since it was harvested so late. Their more recent wines are equally good. My friend is a wine club member and I’d gladly join too!

  • Casey:

Tough to choose among Garagiste, Hawley and Longboard – Longboard it is. Thanks and have a great weekend (and holiday season).

  • Casey:

Realized I forgot to say the why above — that I enjoy the wines from each of those wineries and would gladly share them with friends at dinner parties, sunset winedowns, etc. (when isn’t it a good time to share good wine with friends? Longboard just won the random pick among them this time.)

  • Jessica Chapman:

I have chosen Toad Hollow for the oddest of reason’s. I can tell you how good there wine is, but you should already know this. I can say how there staff treats you like family; as they do. But my reason is the child like smile my husband get when we exit our car, and exclaims it’s time for Toad Hollow.

  • Casey:

Though torn by number of good choices, particularly Garagiste and Longboard, the coin flip went to Longboard. The why — would be thrilled to share their wines with friends at dinner parties or simply sunset winedowns.
(apologies if duplicate, comments from 3+ hours ago not appearing yet and didn’t want to miss out)

  • William Allen:

congrats to possingerann & SElizabethG (1st part of email address) you won as well!

  • Paula Sartor:

I would choose Windsor Vinyards because of the full compliment of products they offer. Not only do they have a fabulous selection of wines, but they also have amazing gifts and holiday items. I can’t think of any winery I would prefer!
